Logan ACI-800 is an 8-stage cascade impactor that is specifically made for measuring the APSD produced by MDIs and DPIs. Logan ACI-800 is built so that as an aerosol stream passes through each stage, larger particles with enough inertia will stay at that stage's collection plate, while smaller particles with insufficient inertia will move on to the next impaction stage.
